The Bay State Village Association (BSVA) is the neighborhood association for the Bay State Village section of Northampton, Massachusetts (bordered by the High School, Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Florence and the State Hospital-areas within or adjacent to the triangle formed by Elm St, Riverside Dr. and Nonotuck). We are working to strengthen the sense of community among residents, protect the environment, address issues of community concern and have as much fun as possible doing so. 

The BSVA holds an annual picnic and mid-winter party, does a river/neighborhood clean up day and publishes a calendar in addition to other projects or activities as the need, or interest, arises. We have also added  a Village Tag Sale to our annual list of events. We give annual scholarships to a graduating senior from both Northampton High School and Smith Vocational Agricultural High School.
